Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Joshua Clark, doing business as PitPet (“PitPet”, “we”, “us”), handles information in the Pit Pet mobile app (the “App”).

Short version. Pit Pet is read-only. We never ask for, receive, or store private keys or seed phrases. We don’t use your data for advertising, we don’t track you across other apps or websites, and we don’t sell your data.

1. Information we collect

Wallet addresses you enter. Public blockchain addresses (EVM and Solana) that you add to the App. Blockchain data is public, but once an address is linked to your App account we treat it as personal data.

Data derived from those addresses. Open positions, balances, token holdings, profit and loss, and account events (such as liquidations) retrieved from public sources. We store periodic snapshots of this data to calculate your pets’ state.

Anonymous account identifier. A random ID created when you first open the App. We don’t ask for your name, email address, or phone number.

Username (optional). If you choose one to send or receive pets.

Pet data. Pet names, states, rarity, event history, and transfers.

Push notification token. Only if you allow notifications.

We do not collect private keys, seed phrases, your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifiers, or browsing history.

2. How we use information

We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Third-party services

To work, the App sends the public wallet addresses you add to data providers that return public blockchain and exchange data:

The App also relies on:

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We share only what is necessary to provide the App. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Pet transfers

When you send a pet, the recipient can see the pet, its name, rarity, and event history, and your username. We do not show your wallet addresses to other users.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while you use the App. You can delete it at any time in Settings → Delete my data: this removes your wallet addresses, pets, snapshots, and account from our database immediately, and from backups within 30 days. Pets you have already sent to other users belong to them and are not deleted.

You can also request deletion by emailing pitpet.support@gmail.com.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, use the in-app deletion option or contact us at pitpet.support@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Legal bases (EEA/UK). We process data to provide the App you requested (performance of a contract), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests), and to send notifications (consent, which you can withdraw in iOS Settings at any time).

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and protected by access controls in our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the App.
